I manipulate and combine fibers in my work reflecting how the chaotic part of life is connected to the ordered; that entropy and creation are entwined. I prefer to combine multiple techniques in each piece such as hand felting wool then using multiple shibori resist and binding dying techniques on it or hand dying, wet felting, distressing, and sewing.

Materials used are natural (sustainable) fibers such as wool, silk & cashmere. Techniques applied include hand dying using multiple shibori methods, hand pleating, binding, wet felting, nuno felting, needle felting, painting, burning, distressing, exhaustion, steaming & sewing.
